27 women. One year. Zero BS.

Nov 29, 2025

Hey [Name],

We spent 2025 in conversation with some of the most resilient, bold and brave women in business. And something kept coming up over and over again in these conversations.

It wasn't about working harder. It wasn't about the perfect marketing funnel. It wasn't even about reaching that magic revenue number (though yes, we talked about that too).

It was this:

The women who are thriving - truly thriving - stopped waiting to feel ready.

They stopped asking for permission to raise their prices, to speak on stages, to call themselves experts.

They stopped building businesses that looked successful from the outside but felt exhausting on the inside.

Here's what came out in the conversations:

When we dug into funding gaps with Esther Wildenberg, she didn't hold back: "Women have to start liking each other and create power partnerships. When you make the money, you invest in other women-owned businesses because you know how hard it was."

Ros Cardinal reminded us that we can lose ourselves in the work-obsessed version of who you think you should be, until you find who you actually are.

And when we shared our thoughts with Carrolee Moore, a PR specialist on personal branding she nailed it: "When people feel seen and heard, there's a wall that comes down. When you can cut through the mess and get to a real connection... selling becomes easier."

This compilation isn't a highlight reel of perfect businesses.

It's 27 real conversations where we explored the messy, beautiful, sometimes terrifying journey of building something that actually matters.

In these conversations, we covered:

  • Why "being ready" is a myth (and what to do instead)

  • How scarcity beliefs from childhood are quietly running your business decisions

  • The power of just bloody well asking for what you want

  • Why women build better businesses - we just do

  • How to stop being your business's best-kept secret

If you've ever felt like you're doing everything right but still not quite breaking through...

If you've wondered whether there's a different way to build that doesn't require sacrificing everything else that matters...

If you're ready to stop playing small and start building the business that gives you the freedom you started this whole thing for...

Why women stop themselves from earning more
Ladies, the most empowered business owners are not the ones who hustle hardest or check the most boxes. They are the ones who understand this: abundance starts with mindset. When you stop believing that money is scarce or that you need to shrink to fit in, things change. Notice the stories you’re telling yourself Most of us carry invisible limits about money. “I’m not ready,” “That’s too much,”...
Why So Many Successful Women Quietly Want to Quit
Here’s something we don’t say out loud often enough in business:Wanting to quit doesn’t mean you’re failing. In fact, almost every successful woman we speak to admits she thinks about quitting far more often than people expect. Not because she’s incapable. Not because she lacks ambition. But because somewhere along the way, her business drifted away from her why. Success without clarity can fee...
What a 66-year-old trans woman taught us about real courage in business
We weren't prepared for this one. This week's conversation with Bobbi left us sitting in silence, touched, moved, inspired, for a good few minutes after we stopped recording. You know that feeling when something shifts inside you and you know you’re better for it? That's what this episode does. Bobbi is 66, a transformational speaker and coach, and one of the most genuinely courageous humans I'...
